Who we are
In a world driven by rapid change, staying informed isn’t just an advantage—it’s a necessity. The Subject was created to cut through the noise and bring you sharp, no-nonsense insights into the three forces shaping our future: the Economy, Energy, and Technology.
We believe news should be clear, engaging, and impactful—not buried in jargon or cluttered with unnecessary fluff. That’s why we deliver straightforward, well-researched, and digestible insights that help you make sense of complex shifts in markets, energy transitions, and technological advancements.
Every edition of The Subject connects the dots between finance, innovation, and policy so you can stay ahead, make informed decisions, and easily understand the bigger picture.
How it all began
In an era where government-controlled media, ad-cluttered news, and TRP-driven TV channels dominate the information space, consuming news has become more frustrating than ever. Sensationalism overshadows substance, and factless, quantity-driven content drowns out the stories that truly matter.
As someone who values clarity, depth, and real analysis, I found myself—and many others, especially the youth—disconnected from the way news is consumed today. We don’t want clickbait. We don’t want noise. We want insightful, well-researched, and meaningful stories that actually help us understand the world.
That’s why we launched The Subject_—a news platform that delivers sharp, well-curated, and thought-provoking content on Economy, Energy, and Technology. Our goal is to bring back depth to journalism, making news something you think about, not just scroll past.
To be honest, we’re not professional writers. We’re not even native English speakers. We didn’t grow up in a big city where people naturally speak English—we’re just regular village guys with dreams of touching the sky. When we write each edition of our newsletter, we use AI to refine our grammar and fix spelling mistakes because what matters to us is not how perfect our English is, but how valuable our insights are.
Living in a village has given us something that cities often steal—mindful peace and happiness. We enjoy our time here, surrounded by nature, free from the distractions of a noisy, busy city life that never seems to slow down. Every time we step into a city and try to fit in, we realize it’s not for us. So, instead of following the crowd, we choose to stay true to ourselves and our roots.
Inspired by Sarthak Goswami, Johnny Harris, and others who believe in the power of storytelling and independent journalism, The Subject_ is here to offer a fresh, subjective perspective in an increasingly noisy media landscape.
No fluff. No bias. Just news that matters.
